The 13th of Tishrei marks the yahrzeit of Rabbi Shmuel of Lubavitch, the Rebbe Maharash.

An adage of Rabbi Shmuel: “The world says if you cannot crawl under an obstacle, then try climbing over it. And I say, L’chatchila Ariber! – in the first place go over!”

Speaking on the 98th anniversary of his predecessor’s passing, the Rebbe discusses the spiritual essence of the neighboring holidays of Yom Kippur and Sukkos, and explores multiple dimensions of the Chasidic approach to overcoming challenges and limitations.

This special release includes the entire two and a half hour event. The Rebbe’s four major addresses, including an original Chasidic discourse, are presented with subtitles.
