The 10th day of the Hebrew month of Shvat in 5732 (1972); the Yahrzeit of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe and the 22nd anniversary of the Rebbe's acceptance of leadership.
The main shul at Lubavitch World Headquarters is packed but silence reigns as the Rebbe steps into the room. As the Rebbe is seated, a Chassidic niggun begins after which the Rebbe begins his first of ten talks.
